Kharkov State Automobile-Highway Technical University

The academic year at KhNAHU starts in September and ends in June (01.09-30.06.). Bachelor`s programs (BSc) lasts 4 academic years; Specialist`s - 5 academic years; Master`s (MSc) - 1 academic year; Doctoral (PhD) - 3 academic years. All the faculties provide full-time programs. Post-graduate studies can be either full-time, or part-time. All the courses are provided in Russian or Ukrainian. Two courses are given in English - Economy of Enterprise and Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies.
The applicants are enrolled according to the results of interview.
International applicants are supposed to take a test in Russian language or take a course of Russian at the Preparatory Faculty.
At the Preparatory Faculty foreign students learn Russian and other subjects (Math’s, Physics, and Biology etc.) for 10 months. The best conditions are provided to ensure a high quality of language teaching:
- well equipped classrooms for groups of 8-10;
- computer programs for training and testing;
- modern textbooks and workbooks for individual study;
- comfortable halls of residence, located in the city Centre not far from the University, with newly renovated double rooms, modern furniture and equipment, internet access and satellite TV;
